Moving to Venice, in search of like minds

Hello everyone!

I am a singer/songwriter/visual artist, wondering healer-muse moving to (or attempting to) Venice or around...
I am in search of a room to rent and good family, people who enjoy co-creating and are not afraid to live as they wish, as they wish on every shooting star~~~~~~~~*

    You know, it seems like the most of the communal art communities are downtown. I remember when I first moved out here a few years ago, I went looking for cheap communal housing but couldn't find one I liked on the west side. So, wound up renting my own place. I wonder if anyone else has had any experiences with communal living in the Venice area?
